Obituary of Peter J. Ross

It is with heavy hearts the family of Peter Ross announce his passing on April 14th, 2019 in Brampton, Ontario. Peter was born December 13, 1949 to the late Frank Patrick and Constance Marion Louise Murphy in Saint John, NB. Peter was a lifelong resident of Ontario and will be dearly missed by his buddies, friends and coworkers. He retired in 2017 after a long career working for Packall Packaging. Peter was a grumpy but loveable man and will always be remembered for those traits. He was great fun to be around and loved a good joke now and then. Peter truly loved his daughter and NB family and would always keep in touch. Peter is survived by his only daughter Jennifer Leigh Ross Canuel (Regan) of Salmon Arm, BC, sisters; Margaret Ross, Karen Legere (Donald), Nancy McGuire (Richard) and Susan Duffley (Phil) all of Saint John, NB, nieces; Amy, Terri-Lee and Donna, and nephews; Sean, Corey and Keegan. He will also be missed by his special friend Maria. Peter’s family is grateful of Maria’s care of Peter and being such a good friend to him for many years. Rest easy sweet man. We love you. Peter is predeceased by his parents and biological father Clarence Theodore Ross. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB E2M2L3 506-634-1701. A Celebration of Life will be held April 27th 2019, at Castle Fallsview Reception Centre from 1:00PM-4:00PM. Private family interment will take place at a later date in Holy Cross Cemetery.
