Obituary of Keith Doiron
It is with heavy hearts that the family of William Keith Doiron announces his peaceful passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, April 11, 2025.
Born on January 22, 1945 at Saint John, NB, Keith was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Keith is the son of the late Frank and Frances (Kane) Doiron.
He is survived by his beloved wife of many years Beverly (McNabb) Doiron, son Bruce (Cathy), daughter Charlene (Ed) and cherished granddaughters Grace and Anna. He is remembered with love by his brothers Chris (Nancy), Daryl (Mary Beth) sisters-in-law Theresa Reade (late Frank), Corrine McKiel (Randy), Eileen MacDonald (Nick) and brother-in-law Sheldon (Jolene). Keith also leaves behind several cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends.
In additon to his parents Keith was predeceased by his two brothers Paul and David.
Keith had a long and respected career as a stevedore superintendent and manager for Logestec where he worked for over 30 years. After retirement, he continued to serve his community as a driver for Saint John Limo. He was well known for his dedication to volunteering, his love of golf and pool, but above all his genuine friendship and kindness.
Arrangements are under the care of Castle Fallsview Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506-634-1701, there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be celebrated in his memory at the Holy Spirit Parish (St. Matthews Catholic Church worship site in Grand Bay Westfield) on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow immediately in the church.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff of 5C North, Palliative Care and the Oncology Department of the Saint John Regional Hospital. Deep gratitude is offered to extended family, friends and neighbors for their love and support during this time.
Keith was deeply loved and he will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers donations in Keith's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation Pallative Care, Cancer Care Fund or a charity of the donor's choice.
