Obituary of Jonathan Webster Swan
It is with broken hearts the family announce the passing of Jonathan Webster Swan on Tuesday April 8, 2025, at his residence. Born in Saint John on August 19, 1982, Jonathan was the son of Lynn (Webster) Parks.
Jonathan is survived by his mother and stepfather; Lynn (Webster) and Kenney Parks, Grandparents Carol and John Mulcahy, Uncles Lorne Webster (Dawn), Phil Webster (Lori), Marty Phillips (Shelley), and Aunts Beth Webster (Francis) and Jennifer Webster (Josh). He also mourned by step brothers Michael Parks (Sarah) and Gregory Parks (Alicia), Great uncles and aunts and many cousins and two nieces. He is dearly remembered by special friends Brandy Walton, Shane Walsh and Chris Currie.
Jonathan was pre decreased by great granddad Leslie Phillips, Grampy Jack Webster and Great Uncle Russ Webster.
Jonathan had been a great server and bartender who worked in many restaurants in New Brunswick and Alberta. He also worked for Freedom Tours organizing and facilitating tours for cruise ship passengers and for corporate events.
Jon had an amazing sense of humour and a quick wit, he never met a crowd he couldn’t entertain. He had a love for mountain climbing, golf, hiking, photography, old movies and food. However, his greatest passion was music especially when he was playing, singing or just jamming with Shane and Chris.
The loss of Jonnie is too immense for words but our love for him will live on in our hearts and his memories always on our minds.
The arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (506 634 1701). Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Castle “Fallsview” Chapel at 1:00pm.
