Obituary of Edith Theresa Muzzerall
It is with broken hearts the family announce the passing of Edith Muzzerall on Thursday March 27, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a period of failing health. Born in Saint John, on September 21, 1935, Edith was a daughter of the late Fenwick Ennis and Edith Mary (Cadeau) Ennis, and widow of Lloyd Joseph Muzzerall (2013).
Edith worked at Moosehead breweries for 27 yrs as Executive Secretary to Derek Oland. Edith was an avid reader.
Edith is survived by two sons; Corey (Jean-Anne) Muzzerall, of Clarendon, N.B., Shawn (Allison) Muzzerall, of Berwick, N.S., four Grandchildren; Jessica Muzzerall (Jake), Natalie (Ryan) Nason, Parker Muzzerall, and Emma Muzzerall (Kalub), three great grandchildren, Fiona Morris, Ava Thorne – Nason, and Brooke Nason.
Edith was predeceased by her parents; Fenwick and Edith Ennis, her beloved husband; Lloyd Joseph Muzzerall (2013), brother; William “Billy” Cadeau.
The family would like to thank Dr.Mokhtari for all his care, and Dr.C.O’Brien and staff for their kindness and compassion.
The arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (506 634 1701). As per Edith’s wishes cremation has taken place. It was also her wishes there be no visitation or funeral. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday April 1, 2025, at 11:00am at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
