Louis, a proud member of ILA Local 273, dedicated his life to working at the Saint John winter port as a 2nd generation Longshoreman. Outside of the winter months, he enjoyed traveling across the country and exploring various job opportunities.
Every summer, Louis and his family would pack up the station wagon and head to Las Vegas. He had a knack for winning at the slot machines, and he also enjoyed visiting casinos in Atlantic City, Moncton, and Halifax.
In his younger days, Louis loved to fish and would participate in the annual Lily Lake fishing contest with his sons.
His great-granddaughter, Hayden, held a special place in Louis’s heart, and he cherished her visits to the hospital.
