I was sadden to hear of Danny's passing. My condolences to his family. I have known Danny since he lived in Ketepec. During our teenage years we shared many a good time/adventure together, some on the river and some on land with snowmobiles, cars, and motorcycles. Later we spent our working days at the pulp mill. So long old friend. Sons of Bunk forever!

I was deeply saddened to read of Danny's passing. Judith had posted on the IPP Retirees site to let us all know. He was a great person to work with and always good for a laugh Later in years, I got to meet two of his little grandsons when we all lived on George Street. My heartfelt sympathy to all of you during this sad, sad time. May he rest in Peace.

Dear Craig family, We were all part of the Ketepec school and KBM community back in our youth. I remember Danny as a nice guy and I’m sure ‘the boys’ have lots of ‘interesting’ stories growing up together. We were free range kids back in the 60s. So sorry for your loss.

As a teenager, I got to know and appreciate Danny when we worked together one summer at the former Wimpy's take-out in Grand Bay - that was 50 years ago! As a bonus, I got to know his wonderful wife Bonnie as an adult. My sincere condolences to Danny's family.

My condolences to Dan's family. I have known Dan for over 60 years as I summered in Ketepec as a child . It was not long after that I got to know Dan from the main beach Later we had summer jobs at the Marina along with several other friends .Over the years we lost touch and would see each other at No frills on the west side. I first knew Danny from Ketepec, where he and his family lived across the road from us...he and my brother, Lee Campbell, were good friends as little boys ...I reconnected through The Legion when my husband, Tom Begin, and I returned to Saint John in 2015.... Years and years of chit chats in the yard, borrowing everything from toilet paper to a teaspoon of cloves and lots of good natured sarcasm and teasing when it came to hockey. Waiting for the look on his face when he found the Montreal Canadian banner I placed on his lawn one night as he slept. I can still hear the grumble!! lol. Always the first to remind us that fall had arrived as the smell of pickles drifted out of his basement door permeating the neighbourhood. These are just a few of the things we will miss about our dear neighbour. Thanks for the memories Danny. We were blest with the best.
