





Obituary of Lillian Alice Brown
It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Lillian Alice Brown, on Tuesday February 11, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Lillian was born in Saint John, N.B. in 1955, she was a daughter of the late Ethel (Gillet) Elliott.
Lillian enjoyed music, playing cards, shopping, and everything Christmas. She lived in Tennant’s Cove for 37 Years where she had many long-time friends whom she shared a cup of tea with. Lillian would always help anyone in the community who needed help. She returned to Saint John in August 2024 and was excited to be able to hop on a bus and go to Walmart and be closer to her family.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of 41 years; Carl Marr, children; Tracy Marr (Wayne), Howard Brown, and Ashley McSorley (Sean), step- children, Brenda Worden (Kevin), Carla MacDonald (Ken), and Ricky Marr (Danielle), grandchildren; Brad Spear, Sarah Spear, Lucas Thibodeau, Maddyx McSorley, and D’Arcy Guimond, great granddaughter; Adelaine Spear, siblings; Josie Chaisson (Donald), Shirley Amnott, Sybil Barthelot (Phillip), David Elliott, John Elliott (Leonard), Mark Elliott and Peter (Claudette). She also leaves behind her beloved pets, Toby and Ringo.
In addition to her mother, Lillian was predeceased by her brothers, Gregg, Gary and Tom Elliott, and her best friend; Sheila Greenslade.
A special thanks to the staff of the Saint John Regional Hospital CCU for the exceptional care during Lillians last days. Your kindness and compassion will not be forgotten.
The arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (506 634 1701). Cremation has taken place.
