Obituary of Gladys Irene Galbraith
She will be deeply missed by her son Brian (Jill), her cherished grandchildren Terrance (Cheryl), Robert (Jenna), and Abby (Nicole), and her beloved great-grandchildren Kloee, Alice, Lily, Rose, Curtis, and Calvin. Many nieces, nephews, and extended family will also treasure her memory.
In addition to her parents, Gladys was predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd and her brothers, Gordon and Wayman Pitcher.
A lifelong member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Oak Point and an active member of the ACW, Gladys embodied faith and service.
Gladys was renowned for her perfectly manicured flowerbeds and vegetable gardens. Her gifted green thumb also cultivated beauty in our communities through the 24 years she and Lloyd proudly owned and operated Galbraith's Greenhouse in Browns Flat
Arrangements are under Castle Fallsview Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Oak Point in Spring 2025, with interment in the cemetery. Donations in Gladys’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, St. Paul’s Cemetery Fund, or a charity of choice.
