Gladys Irene Galbraith was reunited with her best friend and devoted husband of 65 years, Lloyd Galbraith, on January 24, 2025. Born on October 20, 1933, in Upper Greenwich, NB, to the late Robert and Olive (Cameron) Pitcher, Gladys lived a life filled with love, kindness, and devotion to her family and community.

She will be deeply missed by her son Brian (Jill), her cherished grandchildren Terrance (Cheryl), Robert (Jenna), and Abby (Nicole), and her beloved great-grandchildren Kloee, Alice, Lily, Rose, Curtis, and Calvin. Many nieces, nephews, and extended family will also treasure her memory.

In addition to her parents, Gladys was predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd and her brothers, Gordon and Wayman Pitcher.

A lifelong member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Oak Point and an active member of the ACW, Gladys embodied faith and service.

Gladys was renowned for her perfectly manicured flowerbeds and vegetable gardens. Her gifted green thumb also cultivated beauty in our communities through the 24 years she and Lloyd proudly owned and operated Galbraith's Greenhouse in Browns Flat
