Ralph, Nancy, Fay, Ken and Margot, Memories of Argyle Street came flooding in when Linda called to tell us of your dad's passing. ~Long summer days, sunburned shoulders from ‘down back’, CCM bicycles, frozen tag on dandelion lawns, baseball on the asphalt, and the divine aroma of roasting peanuts wafting up the length of ‘our street’ from Atlantic Wholesalers~ Good memories always keep us close to those we love. We were so lucky to have had Argyle Street and the friendship of all the good families that lived there! Our heartfelt condolences to the entire family at this unhappy time. Always keep the good memories alive. ~Cathy & Doug

I will always remember the time as a child Grampie would say at the breakfast table, hay look at that fly buzzing around now on the wall, and before you knew it, he had plucked a salty piece of bacon from your plate and was crunching it down with a big tender smile on his face. That was grampie, with wit as sharp as a tack and a tenderness for those he loved as he worried about the most minute detail of everyone's life. You were a great man who always put family first. We are indedted to your memory Grampie as you have filled our lives with dedication, committment and a sense of duty to the other that will remain in your children's grand children I am sure. I thank and love you Grampie. We are so much better for your presence in this world for nearly a century. A true hero to your first grandson. Love forever. I wanted to extend our deepest condolence to all the families on the passing of a great Man Uncle Ron.I will keep him in my heart and prayers.I was send this poem (author unknown) when my son died and like to pass it onto the family"A Letter from Heaven"To my dearest ones, some things I’d like to say but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived ok.I’m writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above here, there’s no more tears of sadness; Here is just eternal love. Please do not be unhappy just because I’m out of sight. Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night. That day I had to leave you, when my life on earth was through, God picked me up and hugged me and He said, “I welcome you.”“It’s good to have you back again, you were missed while you were gone. As for your dearest family... They’ll be here later on.”“I need you here badly, you’re part of my plan. There’s so much that we have to do to help our mortal man.”God gave me a list of things that he wished for me to do. And foremost on that list was to watch and care for you.And when you lie in bed at night, the day’s chores put to flight, God and I are closest to you... in the middle of the night. When you think of my life on earth and all those loving years, Because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears. But do not be afraid to cry: it does relieve the pain. Remember that there would be no flowers unless there was some rain.I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned. If I were to tell you, you wouldn’t understand. But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o’er. I’m closer to you now than I ever was before. There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb, But, together, we can do it by taking one day at a time.It was always my philosophy and I’d like it for you too... That as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.If you can help somebody who’s in sorrow and pain, Then you can say to God at night, “My day was not in vain.”“And now I am contented that my life was worthwhile.Knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile.”So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low, Just lend a hand to pick him up as on your way you go.

I know what it is like to loose one of your parents; my heart and condolences go out to the entire Yeomans family in their moment of grief. He sounded like a fine man, which explains the wonderful job he did with his children.I am sure he had a life very well lived, and was loved by his entire family.May you rest in peace.Robert HosseletOttawa, Ontario

Bernice and I have fond memories of Ron and his first wife ((Dot McBrierty) who was the Sister of a good friend of mine Jack McBrierty. When our Son Fred lived in Ottawa and when we used to visit He and His family we always spent an afternoon with Ron and Dot. Dot was a great cook and always had a nice lunch for us and we especially loved her Strawberry pie which was always on hand. When I was young my Mother and Father used to visit with His folks in Sussex and Ron was quite often there and we shared some great conversations together.A real great guy and will surely be missed by all who knew him.Bill
