Obituary of Lottie Joy Furlong
It is with great sadness the family of Lottie Joy Furlong wish to announce her passing on Tuesday May 17, 2022, at her residence. Born in Saint John in 1968 Lottie was a daughter of the late Edward L. and Marjorie (Bigney) Furlong.
Lottie was an avid Toronto Maple Leaf’s Fan, an animal and unicorn lover.
Lottie is survived by her brother, Edward Furlong, of Woodman’s Point, four sisters, Marjorie Furlong, Kimberly Furlong, Kathy Furlong, all of Saint John, and Rhonda Furlong, of Ontario, aunt, Dorothy (Gordon) Lloyd, of N.S., aunt Donna Bury, of Woodman’s Point, and aunt Faye Toucash, of Saint John, uncle, David (Eileen) Furlong, of Rothesay, several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Lottie was predeceased by her parents, infant brother, Andrew Furlong, and brother, Robert Angus Furlong, aunts, Kathleen Belyea, Beatrice App, Kathleen Thibodeau and uncle, Charles Booker.
Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John have been entrusted with the arrangements. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022, from 4 to 8 pm at Castle Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 21, 2022, at 10:00 am at Castle “Fallsview” Chapel. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. Donations to the S.P.C.A or Saint John Animal Rescue league would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences can be made at www.castlefh.ca
