Obituary of Jane Montgomery Miller

Jane M. Miller wife of the late Frank L. Miller, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at Parkland Saint John surrounded by family. Jane was born on October 7, 1924, in Woodstock NB to the late Guy and Alice Kathleen (MacDonald) Gabel.

Jane worked for several years at T.S Simms as a stenographer. She was a longtime member of St. Georges Anglican Church where she served on various committees and was a volunteer with New Brunswick Heart and Stroke for many years. Jane loved gardening, smocking, and playing bridge.

Jane is survived by her sons; Phillip Miller (Marilyn) and Andrew Miller (Joyce), special granddaughter Katherine Miller and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Jane is predeceased by siblings; Jarvis Gabel, Thomas Gabel, Joanne Lowerison, and Frances Gabel.

Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3 506-634-1701. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at 2:00 PM in Greenwood Cemetery.
